Looking for a community that makes learning fun and rewarding?

Azure Developer Community

Azure Developer Community is where you sharpen your mind by attending enriching sessions, community calls, fun quizzes, and various other competitions.

Not only that—you’ll be able to network with amazing minds.

They don’t conduct boring webinars; instead, they host engaging sessions, include a small quiz at the end, and give away prizes. It’s a win-win for anyone who attends these sessions.

They are constantly evolving, gathering as much feedback as possible, and fulfilling the needs of the community.

With many new competitions ahead, they are just getting started.

Recently, they hosted a debugging sprint last month and an amazing blogathon this month.

And you know what? This is just the beginning—there are many more interesting and enriching competitions to come.

They are ready to help and guide you toward reaching your goals.

My Journey with the Azure Developer Community

I first discovered the Azure Developer Community through a LinkedIn post.

I joined their Discord server and introduced myself.

The community greeted me with warmth and inclusivity, making it easy to feel welcomed and engaged from the start.

I learned that they conduct three quizzes weekly.

I participated in these quizzes—they were fun and helped me expand my knowledge across various topics, including tech and fun subjects.

I was so impressed that I encouraged my sister to join the community.

Now, I not only compete with other members but also with my sister.

And what’s a better feeling than defeating your sibling in a game? I get that thrill every time I finish in a better spot than her.

Of course, sometimes she gets to enjoy that feeling too when she beats me.

Engaging Sessions & Swag

I’ve attended various sessions conducted by the Azure Developer Community.

They are very engaging and always end with a fun quiz.

The community also encourages the most engaging person in the session with swag.

The top two participants in the quiz also receive swag. Amazing, right?

Yes, I’ve won swag twice!

The community conducts periodic community calls, collects feedback, and guess what? You can see the improvements implemented sooner than ever.

The Community Managers and Moderators are so friendly that they encourage us to step out of our comfort zones and explore.

The Blogathon Experience

The Blogathon gave me a chance to explore many technologies I hadn’t tried before.

It runs for seven days with seven different topics.

Each day at 11 AM, the topic is announced along with a submission form.

We have to post the blog on LinkedIn and submit the form with the post link before 11 PM.

You might think there’s just one winner for this blogathon—No! Every day, there is a winner chosen based on the blog as well as the discussion that happens the next day in the Discord server call.

All winners are announced on the eighth day and receive swag.

This not only encourages learning new technologies but also rewards participants for their efforts. It’s truly a win-win situation.

Continuous Evolution

The Azure Developer Community constantly evolves based on community feedback. Here’s a real, recent example:

Some community members mentioned they don’t usually post blogs on LinkedIn and are more comfortable with other platforms.

Taking this feedback into account, the community decided to conduct more blogathons on various blogging platforms like Dev.to, Hashnode, etc.

This is what truly defines the Azure Developer Community.

What About the Swag?

I’ve mentioned swag quite a bit—but what is it? Is it the same T-shirt every time?

No, absolutely not! They send a variety of swag—T-shirts, bags, gym bags, and many more.

But at the end of the day, it’s not about the swag; it’s about the encouragement for the effort you put in.

It’s about the knowledge and experience you gain through this community.
